Richmond & District Decorative and Fine Arts Society (RADFAS)

The Richmond & District Decorative and Fine Arts Society, colloquially known as RADFAS, is one of some 350 NADFAS affiliated societies. Our successful and vibrant society was founded in 1976, bringing together local people with an interest in the arts and a desire to share, extend and widen that interest. We now have 280 members.

If you are interested in joining the Society it is very easy and we do not have a waiting list. Just phone Richard Lebus on 020 8892 9696 or send a brief email to contactus@richmonddfas.com and we will get back to you straight away. Membership is open to all.

Our annual membership fees are: £40 single, £75 double.

We have ten lectures a year given by lecturers recommended by NADFAS as expert lecturers in their specialist fields. Other events such as study days and day visits are also arranged.

All members receive a copy of the national magazine published quarterly by NADFAS which provides articles on arts subjects, news of NADFAS activities nationally and ideas about what is available for members, including courses, both at a national and local level. It also gives information about holidays arranged specifically for NADFAS members.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month (but not in January or August) for a one-hour lecture which starts at 8pm. The committee welcomes members and guests to meet for a drink beforehand from 7pm.

Guests and new members are especially welcome to join us there.

Guests: £5 per person payable at the door.

If you would like to, you are most welcome to come along for a taster lecture for £5, returnable if you join as a member.
