As 2021 comes to a close, we wanted to share some quick stats on the year that has gone by, as we have in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. Like last year, this year is notably different as Covid stopped a lot of events from happening.
Articles and events
This year we wrote more articles, but Covid caused a big drop in events.

How people accessed the site
One trend we have been watching is how many people are now using the site on phones and tablets. This is why we continue making the site work better on smaller screens. This year’s mobile usage is still over half of all sessions, however, Desktop users grew as more people were at home because of Covid.
Device | 2021 | Change from from2020 |
---|---|---|
Desktop | 41.42% | 4.25% |
Mobile | 53.43% | -2.4% |
Tablet | 5.15% | -1.85% |
Well, hope you have a great 2021 and if you want to write an article or promote that local event, please get in touch.
