The RichDance Festival, Richmond upon Thames’ annual showcase for new dance, is back and looking for the fleet footed to float across the 2019 stage.

The Festival is returning for a seventeenth year and is open to all dance groups and all forms of dance. Over 600 people secured tickets to last year’s festival.

RichDance 2019 will be held at The Hammond Theatre at Hampton School on the weekend of 23-24 March.

Cllr John Coombs, Cabinet Member for Arts, Culture and Sport said:

“RichDance is one of the highlights of the borough’s cultural calendar and a showcase for the breadth of talent we are lucky enough to have in Richmond upon Thames.

“If you haven’t yet applied and would like to take part please do apply for the end of the week. I’m looking forward to seeing the performances everyone has put together.”

Applications close this Friday 1 February. If you’d like to take part apply by visiting www.richmond.gov.uk/richdance.
