Open your door to the world of art lovers
Artists living and working Richmond upon Thames are invited to open their homes and studios for a borough-wide exhibition of creative talents.
‘Art House Open Studios’, will allow members of the public to visit venues signed up to the programme and experience first-hand the wonderful work produced by Richmond’s artistic community.
The open exhibition will take place over two weekends from Friday 22nd June to Sunday 24th June and from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July.
A group exhibition will be held at Richmond’s Riverside Gallery between 12th May and 28th July to allow participating artists to submit a piece of work for display and to promote their own studios.
David Allister, Head of Culture at Richmond Council said:
“We are very lucky to live in a borough which is home to an enormous amount of artistic talent. Our Arts Service work very hard to bring new and exciting exhibitions to art lovers and this is another great example of that.
“If you are an artist who would like to participate in this year’s Open studios exhibition please get in touch with our Arts Service.”
Applications to take part in Art House 2018 will open at 10am on Tuesday 20 March.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday 6 April and entries received after this time may not be accepted. Submit your application online.
