September Sing Day will be led by Sam Evans, professional baritone and Music Director of Teddington Choral Society, the day will focus on vocal health, singing technique, and having fun. Sam has a wealth of musical experience.

Singers will also benefit from specialist voice coaching from professional mezzo-soprano and singing teacher Arlene Rolph.

What will we sing?

Singers will learn choruses from Mendelssohn’s majestic oratorio Elijah. Bring your own score or hire from us at £5.00 cash refunded on return of music.

Private lessons

In the course of the day there will be a limited number of 1:1 singing lessons available with Arlene on a first come first served basis.

• We will be using the OLD NOVELLO 1903 version in English this will be handed out at the ‘Sing Day’. But the NEW NOVELLO edition is compatible in both page and bar numbers. It has both English and German text which tends to make the print smaller.
