I noticed the second hand shop opposite the station is displaying 'vintage fur' in the window. Just because it's old fur, doesn't make it OK to sell it.
Mrs B on 2014-11-23 08:44:32 +0000You're sad. Fur is a sustainable resource - unlike nylon for example.
EGB on 2014-11-23 09:29:24 +0000Actually EGB your the sad case here! The previous comment is correct. Fur is only sustainable if the animal is bread for purpose, kept in un-natural surroundings and imported as fur farms are banned from this country. If your morals allow you to be comfortable with this then go ahead buy the over priced item and parade around St. Marg. By the way Nylon is not the only material these days. You you have a very interesting wardrobe!
P. James on 2014-11-23 10:12:06 +0000You're right EGB i am sad...sad there's ignorant pea brains like you living in st Margarets....
Mrs B on 2014-11-23 10:23:24 +0000Good point. How can imported fur be sustainable?
AGP on 2014-11-23 10:24:16 +0000People, let's keep the thread respectful please.
Peter @ stmgrts.org.uk on 2014-11-23 11:44:58 +0000Peter I agree but lets remember the 2nd commenter started throwing mud at someone expressing an honest opinion. Some rebuttal in defence is to be expected.
john on 2014-11-23 13:45:35 +0000So, what is the politically correct to do with vintage fur?
