This is the time of the year when minds turn to fireworks, fallen leaves and fundraising for the BBC’s annual ‘Children in Need’ Appeal for disadvantaged children around the U.K.
This year St Margarets very own 1950 style rock ‘n’ roll band, ‘Nark Drool and the Shudders’ are greasing up their quiffs and bouffing up their beehives for a special Fun raising, Fund raising…
‘Children in Need’ Rock n’ Roll Hop at Richmond Yacht Club, Eel Pie Island, Thursday 17th November from 7.30 - 11.30pm.
It will be a night of all those rock ‘n’ roll favourites that got your granny grooving back in the days of Teddy Boys and Dungaree Dolls with spot prizes and personality competitions. There will also be a licensed bar and a Pudsey Pantry serving up old style burgers, dogs and fries!
As well having the unique opportunity of bopping your sox off on Eel Pie Island, Britain’s legendary home of rock and blues, you’ll also be helping the Children in Need Appeal to raise money to help disadvantaged children in the U.K. O.K?
