In its fifteenth year, the Book Now Literature Festival returns to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames from 4-28 November.
The festival will host a range of talents in both established and exciting new venues:
- Hanif Kureishi at the Orange Tree Theatre;
- literary biographer Claire Tomalin;
- Kevin McCloud of Grand Designs at the Landmark Arts Centre;
- Sanjeev Bhaskar and Meera Syal of The Kumars at Watermans;
… and for the grand finale, cartoonist Gerald Scarfe at Hampton Court Palace.
The festival also has Atlantic rowers, Ben Fogle and James Cracknell, Fay Weldon, top chef Giorgio Locatelli, photographer Will Pryce, Salley Vickers, poet Roger McGough, Simon Hoggart.
For younger readers there are three of the top writers of children’s historical fiction: Viv Richardson, Mary Hooper and Paul Dowswell who will read from their recent books in the magnifi cent setting of Syon House.
